Every initiative we take on begins with a conversation. Residents tell us what's needed, and we figure out how to make it real. From arena upgrades to community events our work is shaped entirely by the people who live here.

At North of 89 Alliance, we take pride in responding to the needs and ideas shared by local residents, organizations, and user groups, investing in projects that create lasting benefits for everyone.
Water Bottle Filling Station: Honeywood Arena
Clean drinking water on demand, reducing single-use plastic and keeping the community hydrated at every event and practice.
Lacrosse Lines: Honeywood Arena Floor
Official lacrosse lines painted on the arena floor, creating a dedicated playing surface for local leagues, youth programs, and community teams.
Lacrosse Nets: Honeywood Arena
New lacrosse nets purchased to provide equipment for practices, games, and drop-in community recreation throughout the season.
Food Bank Donations: Shelburne and Alliston
$1,000 donated to the Shelburne Foodbank and $500 to the Alliston Foodbank, helping put food on the table for families across our region.

We work alongside residents, municipalities, businesses, and community partners to support meaningful projects that enhance recreation, improve accessibility, promote safety, and foster a strong sense of belonging throughout North Dufferin.

Our story
Started with an arena. Grown into something bigger.
North of 89 Alliance was formed by a group of passionate community members who care deeply about North Dufferin and the people who call it home. What began as a shared desire to support the Honeywood Arena quickly grew into something much bigger.
As we came together, we realized that the needs of our community extend far beyond one facility. Our efforts have since expanded to supporting local recreation, youth programs, families, and seniors, always with the goal of building a stronger, more connected community.
Driven by collaboration, volunteerism, and local pride, North of 89 Alliance works to bring people together, raise awareness, and create meaningful opportunities to give back.
Together, we are committed to strengthening North Dufferin, today and for generations to come.
