Clean drinking water on demand, reducing single-use plastic and keeping the community hydrated at every event and practice.
Official lacrosse lines painted on the arena floor, creating a dedicated playing surface for local leagues, youth programs, and community teams.
New lacrosse nets purchased to provide equipment for practices, games, and drop-in community recreation throughout the season.

Our story
North of 89 Alliance was formed by a group of passionate community members who care deeply about North Dufferin and the people who call it home. What began as a shared desire to support the Honeywood Arena quickly grew into something much bigger.
As we came together, we realized that the needs of our community extend far beyond one facility. Our efforts have since expanded to supporting local recreation, youth programs, families, and seniors — always with the goal of building a stronger, more connected community.
Driven by collaboration, volunteerism, and local pride, North of 89 Alliance works to bring people together, raise awareness, and create meaningful opportunities to give back.
